About Glassford
A Flexible Accommodations for All Groups. Glassford House sits within a verdant 54-acre estate, delivering expansive grounds, tranquil views, and an ambiance designed for privacy and renewal. The guest wings are independent of the main Glassford House, each with its own private entrance and separate access, and are priced separately to reflect their standalone status.
Our portfolio presents multiple configurable options to suit different group sizes and preferences, from intimate escapes to large gatherings. Glassford House lies on the outskirts of Milngavie town, a walkable distance to town Centre and train station. Eight miles from Glasgow City Centre and under half an hour drive from Glasgow Airport. This is an ideal holiday base offering outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, or golfing, whilst still being close to the city of Glasgow. Milngavie is the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, with Loch Lomond within easy reach. For those undertaking the West Highland Challenge, GH offers a relaxed option before embarking on your journey.
There are regular trains with journey times to Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow Airport is 40 minutes away and provides regular domestic and international flights. Edinburgh and St Andrews are around 2- hours drive away.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms vary depending on the accommodation selected:
Main House: Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in. Cancellations within 30 days are charged 50% of the booking total.
East Wing: Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. Cancellations within 14 days are charged 50% of the booking total.
Grace Wing & Private Suite: Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in. Cancellations within 7 days are charged 50% of the booking total.
No-show: Full booking amount is payable.
Modification: Date changes are subject to availability.
As a complementary service, we offer a drop-off service for guests staying with us while undertaking the West Highland Way Walk. Please ensure to clarify this service when making your reservation, including the number of guests.

We don't serve cooked meals, but for breakfast, we offer a range of cereals, bread, butter, jams, and fruit. Eggs are available for guests who wish to prepare a cooked breakfast. For dining out, we have a list of recommended restaurants within a 2-mile radius of the property. Glassford House provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries.
